Monica, a culinary enthusiast, embarked on a culinary journey in 2013 by opening her first restaurant, La Frontera. Every day, she crafted Tex-Mex-style dishes from scratch, delighting her customers with her culinary creations. In 2020, Monica and her partner made the difficult decision to sell the location. However, Monica’s passion for cooking remained undiminished, and she decided to revive her culinary endeavors. In 2025.she decided to reopen in the vibrant Monarch Market in Uptown, offering her signature dishes and the beloved favorites that had captivated her customers over the years, including tacos, quesadillas, and more.
